The product has a thick texture. It comes in a well-sealed package. It's very simple to set up. It will be even easier to install with two people. I recommend the color green for the backyard. It came out really well in mine, so...In terms of maintenance, I recommend washing it every 2 months or so to remove any rust or debris caused by the fence. Excellent product. There is a chain link fence over 50 feet, that looks into a large parking lot, which gave us no privacy. The windscreen has lasted Canadian windy winters...no tears and still intact. You can slightly see threw it, but if there is a person standing on the right next to the other side of the fence you can't see them/they can't see you! We would definitely suggest buying this. We used zip ties to attach it to the chain link fence....if you have any question...ask away. The colour green looks natural against our cedar trees that are planted by it.The screen came a good 8 inches longer and 4 inches taller than what I ordered so it hangs loosely and really doesn't look that great. If it was to the advertised size I'd probably recommend it but as is I'd say look elsewhere if aesthetics matter.Bought six to do our backyard fence. The grommets tear thru the fabric with very little effort. Panels are not all the same height, they are not true to each other. Grommets are misaligned and cannot be joined up. Wish I had only purchased one then I would have wasted less money.Barely blocks the viewHigh quality, good thickness
