That should keep rattlers out (we average 2-3 per acre in this area) and we will see if the mutts escape. One is a total ‘Escape from Alcatraz’ artist so fingers crossed he won’t want to risk therapy in the fence above ground level. I held it in place with self tapping screws which also worked well.Serves the purpose.This screen will be used at a trout hatchery to build crowd screens. This was the best price by a long shot!This item is nothing like the photo with the hand on it. This wire is only 1/4” by 1/4” but the photo appears to be 1-1/4” by 1-1/4” and this wire is so thin that it can be cut simply with scissors and then pulled apart with your hands.This wire is nothing like heavy duty, heavy gauge, durable thick wire fencing. I have never seen any wire fencing this thin and cheaply made and of poor quality.It rusts after a few days. It arrived with unraveling wire, wire slits already on the wire making parts of it unusable, and looks more like 32 gauge in thickness.I returned 3 boxes of this poor quality product and have yet to receive a refund notification email from Amazon of the seller. It is very difficult to try to get this product back into the box to return.
