Now that the privacy fence is up, I can focus on cleaning up the yard. My dogs went from only barking occasionally to barking almost constantly whenever they were outside - or I was outside without them. Living on a corner lot, they can see up the street in four directions, and would start to bark as soon as they saw any dog in the distance, until they couldn't see it anymore. It took me about two hours to put up 50' of this privacy fence, and it was immediately worth it. It's only been two days, and the dogs are a little bit upset about it, but they are also at ease in their own yard now. They're so much more relaxed.Let me paint you a picture: A single, university graduate woman moves into a house in a college town. The neighborhood mostly consists of young transient families and old timers who stubbornly refuse to give up their homes to contractors who want to tear them down and build student housing. I fit somewhere in between these demographics.The property is huge (you can only see about 1/5 of it in the photos), and to put in a simple chain link fence would be in excess of $30k+. However, I have two small dogs who need to be contained to a fenced in yard. My solution was to buy several 8- panel dog pens and link them all together to make a small fenced in yard for them. It has worked great for 4 years - I get a lot of compliments on the ingenuity of it, even though I know it looks crooked and looks a little funny.Here's the deal - four years ago, these dogs were among a small handful in the neighborhood. Most landlords didn't allow pets before the pandemic. Therefore, my dogs lived relatively peaceful, dog-free lives. That all changed all changed with the pandemic. They're getting older, both have health issues, and they shouldn't have to put up with people using them as training tools for their own dogs. These were attached with eye bolts & carabiners to allow movement while still being secure. Was so happy to find the 3’ size because I wanted to block the early morning sun without blocking my view. Between the intense sun and wind, the shades might only last a year, but the reasonable price makes that ok.I needed a specific size to finish covering my upstairs deck and this fit perfectly and was a close color match to the other brand I had used with a similar transparency.The apartment complex told me to put it up, then said they weren't allowed. But I thought it was really nice and my neighbor complimented it. It also made the patio safer as my toddler cannot climb the fence anymore. Pour la couleur, je dirais que c'est plus un jaune pâle qu'un beige mais c'est une très belle couleur qui s'est agencée très bien avec le reste de la maison. Le pare-vue est opaque aussi.
